FLY MOTION • 1,2,3 4, and more to come...

For those of you who know me PERSONALLY, or get beats from me exclusively knows all about the "Fly Motion" series. It started with a beat I made June/2007 that turned out to be quite amazing. Alot of Producers name there shit "Beat 001, Beat 239" or whateva, but I dont consider myself a "beat maker" I feel I am Producer...so all my beats have a mood, and an identtity, so I give them names that I see fit. This particular beat..."Fly Motion" just sounded cool. Side Note...NIKE HAS A SERIES OF SHOES CALLED "Fly Motion" that I knew NOTHING about until today...when I Googled it. lol...check em!



NO RELATION!! - I should cop a pair just cause...they remind me of Bowling Shoes. Ha...Anyway...to the point. I made the first beat...and fell in-love, so I made another one [2007]. Then a year went by and I made another one [2008], then another year went by...and I made another one [2009]. lol - Seems like I its something about it that keeps calling for my creative buzz, but they all come out great...to my ear. So recently I finished up FLY MOTION IV and though..maan, I need to post about the hist ory behidn these tracks.

Ive had male/female artist write/record to 1, 2, and 3. All Unfinished tracks, but sounds incredible. Will IO post them...No! lol, but maybe one day, one of the tracks will get finished and mastered and i'll share it with the world. Hey, maybe I need to more song writers on my team HINT HINT! Now, me and the homies always LAUGHING at something crazy. No matter what it is, we can find something hilarious about it...but being as though this particular movie is BEYOND horrible, everything to laugh at is already prepared for you. We comcast it...ON DEMAND - FEARnet - The movie is called DRIVE THRU, and its a killer that goes by Horny The Clown [literally] and there's some white kids acting black, horrible dialog, bad acting, bad rhymes, its just rediculous. I couldnt help but give yall a sample of this dumb shit! Kick It...

The Dream - Fancy (Prod By: Tricky Stewart & Nagotiator)

Aight, for those of yall who are a fan of R&B and most importantly...a fan of The-Dream. His new album titled "Love vs Money" is set to release March 10th 2009. With that plug out the way...let me say this the album is CLASSIC!!! People always ask my opinion and my exact words are..."HE'S DONE IT AGAIN". Christopher "Tricky" Stewart is crazy in the beats as usual, and Dream gets his credit for being an amazing composer and very talent signer and song writer.



Now there's a track on the album called "Fancy". The track is about 6 and a half mins long, and the entire track has no Kick Drum. No Beat what so ever til the last 10 seconds. As a musician....this track is flawless without it, but the producer in me...I have an ear for music, and when I hear it, I have to make it, or ill go nuts. [PAUSE] So at 4:03 seconds into the song...I threw a beat on there. I just had to hear what it would sound like, and it was smooth. I didnt go crazy with it, cause its already perfect, but you know I had to do it. Couldnt resist. Check It...

Aight, So I dont have a this game, and I dont even have a DS, but my homeboy does. It crazy cause I was looking up Mario sounds for my phone...and I ran across a SOUNDTRACK, so me being a Producer...I just downloaded it. It was to the game you see above. I went threw the songs to the stages...and I got to World 7.

Im like...its crazy how all these game soundtracks can be CRAZY if you flipped it. My homeboy like, you cant do nothing with that. Im like NIGGA!?!?! - YES YOU CAN...he like, aight Mr. Timbaland. You Kanye, Pharrell wanna be. Lets see of you can Surf your way into making this into anything. Im like...HAHA!! Watch me work nigga...

Now with that being said...Here's a quick sample of the stage he told me to make something from. Take a listen...



Took a sample, slowed it down, found a quick KICK/SNARE that would fit the beat. Added a Bassline, some light RAIN in the back, grabbed a quick Sound Effect, and high hat. - WALLAH!!! I added a Drum Loop at the end...Hit-Boy style. LOL - I was actually talking to Chase on AIM when I made this joint...so Shout Out to SURF CLUB!! [Plug] Anyway...take a quick listen.

There arent suppose to release til "March 7th, 2009" but we had a few who just couldnt wait. HOUSE OF HOOPS in NY released them early without notice, and people went CRAZY!!! They bought 3-6 pair at a time, and started to FLIP THEM on ebay!! Now where im from...The DMV is the reason before the "Posite" is still alive. Flights, Foams and Nike Boots...Ya Digg! They even dedicated a Nike/Foamposite boot to us called the "FoamDomes" Check it...



Now...I think they ugly, but back to the story. They only released the shoe in Urban Accounts...so here there were at "Downtown Locker Room" and the had a SNEAK RELEASE date for 2/24/09 @ 12pm. Clearly I was at work...but, I got peoples ya dig!! So I GOT EM!!! :) The shoes were named after Little Penny. The miniture doll of Penny Hardaway who took the voice of Chris Rock. Yall dont remember those throw back commercials back in the day??? Here's one...

What It do?? Aight, some of yall (hopefully all of yall) should remember the Timbo + Magoo classic "Luv 2 Luv U" released in 1997. Yeah, alittle over 11 years ago...wow! I Sampled Tim's Sample that he Sampled...for this track, and played around with it, lol. I tend to do things like this alot. Just another way to Practice [2cents]. Shout out to "Shawnta" she gave life to this remix. Even though Timbo's is more of a Banger and def over shines what I made...I just thought I'd share it with the world. CHECK THE VID.

Industry Submissions [Fall 08]

THIS IS EXCLUSIVE SHIT...SO COMMENT AND RESPECT IT!!!
Aight...so as a lot of you may know, I network with only the best of people in my area. Since im not in the Industry yet, and I'm in the hardest place to make it "The DMV" but that's another story. (yeah, I said it) I know alloooottt of people, but obviously not enough. Lucky for me...my running mate is well connected also. DoTcOm whuddup! Hands down "we" are the best producers in the DMV...but that's also another story.

For those who don't know. DMV [DC, Maryland, Virginia (Northern)] We don't have any big record labels, or A&R scouting for talent in this area, so we gotta work SUPER DUPER to the 10th power hard, or...MOVE! lol, but anyway...

Now...phone calls are made and emails are sent....and BAM, we have 6 Major artist looking for tracks and we are the ones to serve them. Who's the 6 artist we have for submission you ask?...Hmmmmm?? Now I would give yall a hint, but im not sure how the submissions will end up, especially due to all the Artist Albums were pushed back to 2009. So I gotta keep it confidential. THE MOVIE has been getting a few messages from people looking for new post...and that is exact what we wanted to see. Take it more as a test. I got to talk to Nagotiator a lot over the past 2 weeks. One thing that I talked to Nagotiator about...is fear. He also asked about the drought. Lol, sneak peek...

If I post something major and 3,000 people check it out...but only 2 people comment...then what how does that make me feel when I go check out the Blog? Is the material not good enough? Does anyone care? Am I really as creative as I think I am? Even if its 2,998 hate comments and 2 positive...it shows a reaction to my actions. No Comments is like...punching somebody in the face and they don't even feel it. Lol

SupaStarr aka RiccoSwagg - I Want Her [Produced by: Nagotiator]

Supastarr aka Ricco Swagg and yours truely Mr.Nagotiator go way back. They story on these 2 is quite crazy, but we wont get into all of that. What is important is that...they have been working on music together since they were teenagers. Supa well, Ricco...whateva, lol...is a New York Native who also networks in ATL. One day a long distant business call comes in about a future project and a listening with DefJam coming up. At the time Ricco well, Supa...whateva, lol...was getting his Demo together to seal the deal...so he called on his homeboy "Nagotiator" for a POP sounding track to open his fanbase up to get ready for the Industry. As we all know, in the Music Industry...there's rules. Even though there close friends, business still had to be handled between Nagotiator and Swagg's manager. After great buisiness talk, the track was sent to NY, where Ricco recorded the track "I Want Her" and shipped the finished product back to Nagotiator a week or two later. Not sure about where this track will end up, or how the listening with DefJam went, but I the track is a smash!! I hope to find out more information on Mr. SupaSwagg...lol.
