Aight, So I dont have a this game, and I dont even have a DS, but my homeboy does. It crazy cause I was looking up Mario sounds for my phone...and I ran across a SOUNDTRACK, so me being a Producer...I just downloaded it. It was to the game you see above. I went threw the songs to the stages...and I got to World 7.

Im like...its crazy how all these game soundtracks can be CRAZY if you flipped it. My homeboy like, you cant do nothing with that. Im like NIGGA!?!?! - YES YOU CAN...he like, aight Mr. Timbaland. You Kanye, Pharrell wanna be. Lets see of you can Surf your way into making this into anything. Im like...HAHA!! Watch me work nigga...

Now with that being said...Here's a quick sample of the stage he told me to make something from. Take a listen...



Took a sample, slowed it down, found a quick KICK/SNARE that would fit the beat. Added a Bassline, some light RAIN in the back, grabbed a quick Sound Effect, and high hat. - WALLAH!!! I added a Drum Loop at the end...Hit-Boy style. LOL - I was actually talking to Chase on AIM when I made this joint...so Shout Out to SURF CLUB!! [Plug] Anyway...take a quick listen.

There arent suppose to release til "March 7th, 2009" but we had a few who just couldnt wait. HOUSE OF HOOPS in NY released them early without notice, and people went CRAZY!!! They bought 3-6 pair at a time, and started to FLIP THEM on ebay!! Now where im from...The DMV is the reason before the "Posite" is still alive. Flights, Foams and Nike Boots...Ya Digg! They even dedicated a Nike/Foamposite boot to us called the "FoamDomes" Check it...



Now...I think they ugly, but back to the story. They only released the shoe in Urban Accounts...so here there were at "Downtown Locker Room" and the had a SNEAK RELEASE date for 2/24/09 @ 12pm. Clearly I was at work...but, I got peoples ya dig!! So I GOT EM!!! :) The shoes were named after Little Penny. The miniture doll of Penny Hardaway who took the voice of Chris Rock. Yall dont remember those throw back commercials back in the day??? Here's one...

Chris Cornell (born Christopher John Boyle on July 20, 1964) is an American rock musician best known as the lead singer and songwriter for rock bands Soundgarden (1984–1997), Audioslave (2001–2007) and for his numerous solo works and soundtrack contributions [1998-2009]. He is known for his wide vocal range and powerful vocal belting technique. He was the founder and frontman for Temple of the Dog, the one-off tribute band dedicated to his former roommate, Andrew Wood, and he has released two solo albums, Euphoria Morning (1999) and Carry On (2007). His third solo album, Scream (2009) is set for release on March 10, 2009.


Now that you know alittle history, with this SCREAM album...I can't fully explain the ANTICIPATION this album has built up. Just like the world was twitching to see what "Lil Wayne" was gonna do with "Tha Carter III" is the same way me, a few people I know, and im sure every Timaland and Chris Cornell fan twitched for this project. I heard Timbo a year ago talking about this project as "The best work of his career". As we all know, Timbo has SOOOOOOOO many classics, and to me he is by far the Best/Greatest Producer ever, so for him to judge his own work with such critique is insane. The best of your career Tim? Really?

Well, with that being said...Chris Cornell's SCREAM album leaked today. I let it play threw and I was not suprised on how...CREATIVE it was. It's one of those albums that you just can't seem to...analize. It takes you on a trip. When its over you take a deep breath like...Woooo! WOW. The best thing about it is that...they take 13-tracks, and blend them all together to make 1 long song. The blends/transitions are OUT OF THIS WORLD!! To blend 1 track in with the other...its just AMAZING!! Check out this video...of Tim/Chris discussing the project.



For a producer like myself...something like this is VERY VERY inspirational. It opens alot of door for your mind to go out side the box, far left, up and under, just...anywhere with your music. You have to hear what im talking about. Listen to the way Timbaland blends Track 5 [Ground Zero] into Track 6 [Never Far Away].

GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE!!! [PLUG]

I was going threw my ARCHIVE of beats I produced back in Jan/Feb 2008, and I found that track I was working on called "The Greatest" and you know what....It reminded me of the Chris Brown's performance track which was produced by my homie "Hit-Boy" last year. The simularities were crazy to me. Even though they have 2 completely different vibes, they have the same...creativity. Maybe you will agree, maybe not....but its what I THINK! Sooo...check out the Hit-Boy + Chris Brown in the studio doing what they do best!!




Crazzzyy! Hit-Boy is a young genius. I dont even recall how I came up with this beat when I made it. It just....MESHED!! I still listen to this beat like I just made it, clearly was made over a year ago....haha! Check it though...
