First and Foremost if you havent heard of Janelle Monae' - I think you need to step your music game up. She's a very talented and unique artist who creates music on a completely different plato. Now with that said...Yes I cop'd her Multi-released album [which is where Ciara got the idea for her Fantasy Ride album coming soon in 2009] and its crazy. Now, If you know me personally....I had this "Fly Motion" phase I went threw. Whats the Fly Motion phase you ask? Well... made a beat called Fly Motion and I couldnt stop making newer versions of it. lol...on this one [version 3] I took a quick sample of Janelle's vocals at the beginning of her song called: Violet Stars Hunting. It really have a crazy feel to this hip/hop-r&b flavor the beat already had. I'll post the other Fly Motions another time, but I had to share this with yall. CHECK IT...

Industry Submissions [Fall 08]

THIS IS EXCLUSIVE SHIT...SO COMMENT AND RESPECT IT!!!
Aight...so as a lot of you may know, I network with only the best of people in my area. Since im not in the Industry yet, and I'm in the hardest place to make it "The DMV" but that's another story. (yeah, I said it) I know alloooottt of people, but obviously not enough. Lucky for me...my running mate is well connected also. DoTcOm whuddup! Hands down "we" are the best producers in the DMV...but that's also another story.

For those who don't know. DMV [DC, Maryland, Virginia (Northern)] We don't have any big record labels, or A&R scouting for talent in this area, so we gotta work SUPER DUPER to the 10th power hard, or...MOVE! lol, but anyway...

Now...phone calls are made and emails are sent....and BAM, we have 6 Major artist looking for tracks and we are the ones to serve them. Who's the 6 artist we have for submission you ask?...Hmmmmm?? Now I would give yall a hint, but im not sure how the submissions will end up, especially due to all the Artist Albums were pushed back to 2009. So I gotta keep it confidential. I'm amazed how some music never dies. The background on this track runs for 3 years deep? Are you serious?...Well, I got a call from "YOUKNOWHO" aka my reliable source...and was informed that the Beat for "Sleep Apena" was made off the Triton you seen in the Prequel video in 2006. The track was submitted to Chaos and Recorded in 2007, but didn't really scratch the surface until its 2008 Release on the Classic Mixtape "Crimson Spider".

Some people can make timeless music and some cant...in this case me personally, I can't hear this song being bumped in 2009, but...I guess it dropped right on time. If I post something major and 3,000 people check it out...but only 2 people comment...then what how does that make me feel when I go check out the Blog? Is the material not good enough? Does anyone care? Am I really as creative as I think I am? Even if its 2,998 hate comments and 2 positive...it shows a reaction to my actions. No Comments is like...punching somebody in the face and they don't even feel it. Lol

SupaStarr aka RiccoSwagg - I Want Her [Produced by: Nagotiator]

Supastarr aka Ricco Swagg and yours truely Mr.Nagotiator go way back. They story on these 2 is quite crazy, but we wont get into all of that. What is important is that...they have been working on music together since they were teenagers. Supa well, Ricco...whateva, lol...is a New York Native who also networks in ATL. One day a long distant business call comes in about a future project and a listening with DefJam coming up. At the time Ricco well, Supa...whateva, lol...was getting his Demo together to seal the deal...so he called on his homeboy "Nagotiator" for a POP sounding track to open his fanbase up to get ready for the Industry. As we all know, in the Music Industry...there's rules. Even though there close friends, business still had to be handled between Nagotiator and Swagg's manager. After great buisiness talk, the track was sent to NY, where Ricco recorded the track "I Want Her" and shipped the finished product back to Nagotiator a week or two later. Not sure about where this track will end up, or how the listening with DefJam went, but I the track is a smash!! I hope to find out more information on Mr. SupaSwagg...lol. What's good!! Aye...First I wanna Thank "The Movie" fam for running the post like its playoff time. Lol, I appreciate yall for holding me down. I'm loving the blog so far. Now...

Ya'll know if im blogging, then its always something Exclusive. Im not sure if any of ya'll were a fan of Snoop Doggs Reality TV Show "Father Hood" which was a great show might I add. One Episode...Snoop was in the studio and he played a track by this group called "Ugly" that was CRAZY!! If you didn't see it...see it now.





Bangin right??? Well lets just say...only in the studio. I heard the real quality of the track when one of the group members posted it on Youtube...and I was umm...whats the word I'm looking for? Uhhh..Disgupointed. Lol, Yeah Yeah...disgusted and disappointed put together but anyway...Listen.





As a Producer...it was hard to let that one slide. Now...to all my Producers (no, not you...beat maker, the Producers...there's a difference) ya'll know what its like to hear something and its not used to its full potential. You feel like....man, that beat can be 100 times better with just some minor shit. So what did I do? Made my own version. Lol. I tried to keep it close to the original...but sometimes I get in my zone. I wasnt allowed to post this track on Youtube for Copyright reasons. I take it...that song was gonna be there first single, and putting my beat out there will down play there version. From Clark Kent to Superman!!! - Nemesis Signing In!!! So I was told that Mr. Nagotiator himself got up out the Producer's chair, stepped in the booth and turned into Deuce over the weekend. The hottest track on the air waves "Swagger Like Us" which was originally sampled from M.I.A.'s hit single "Paper Planes"...has reached Deuce and the Crew...and as we all know it...THEY GO IN!!! I heard this is a track for an upcoming mixtape. Not sure who's though. I was kinda shocked when I seen this in my email this morning. I didn't even listen because I wanted to bring it to you guys first. Check it out...

Okay, as I was chosen to be a part of "The Movie" net staff for running this blog, I had to do my research on Nagotiator and ummm...I ran across some intresting things. (I will try to post all of it...Shhh!) Might I add...his youtube page Sucks!!! I did notice he has a few production video's on there and its one that im very excited about. Now I knew the dude had some skills but to SEE him go in is crazy!!! Mind you this is in 2006?? Just imagine what he's on NOW!! Check it out...
